We have an engineering and design team to provide timely value-engineering services to our clients. In today’s ultra-competitive market it is essential to design a cost-effective slab maximizing margins, however, it is equally important to design a high-quality product to minimize customer service and warranty issues. Davidson Reinforcing is the leader in our market in delivering proprietary solutions that maximize cost savings while drastically reducing warranty claims.

From the beginning our focus has been to deliver competitive prices, and outstanding field performance. Having all the components needed to do the job under one roof is the key. We purchase raw materials directly from the most competitive sources and fabricate/extrude this material in our San Diego plant. Our full-time structural engineering team value-engineers projects for the optimal design. All of our field ironworkers are Davidson employees, not subcontractors, and our foremen were Post-Tension Institute (PTI) trained and have anywhere from 10 to 25 years experience.

The type of projects we are currently bidding and working on are, slab-on-grade (both commercial and residential), tilt-up buildings, elevated decks over parking (both mild steel and post-tension), and parking structures. Davidson Reinforcing Company, Inc is also equipped and staffed to provide complete repair services for these types of jobs and often consult on repairs of other reinforcing contractors.

We can review, engineer, and bid these post-tension and/or mild steel design-build projects at any phase of the process; before any plans have been drawn, during bidding a mild steel design as is, or reviewing and value-engineering a post-tension design already completed.
